How do you find your router configuration web page?

  • Get the default gateway and type the value on the address bar of the browser.

How to Get the Default Gateway

Using Control Panel

  • Click Control Panel
  • Click Network and Internet Connections
  • Click Network Connection
  • You will see the LAN icon
  • Click Status
  • Note: **On the upper portion you will see the General& Support**
  • Click Support
  • You will see the “DEFAULT GATEWAY”
  • Copy the Default Gateway value

Using Command Prompt

  • Click Start
  • Click “RUN
  • Type the word ”cmd”then press ENTER, the command prompt will appear
  • Type “ipconfig” then ENTER
  • Look for “Default Gateway”
  • Copy the Default Gateway value

Using the Network Icon ( in Windows 7)

  • Right click the internet icon on the lower right of your computer
  • Click open network and sharing center
  • Click local area connection
  • Then Click details
  • You will see the IPV4 Default gateway
  • Copy the Default Gateway value

What are the reasons sometimes you are already connected to the internet but still you cannot browse to any site? FOR LAN

  • Conflict in IP address between the Router and modem.
  • Configuration of a router is not accurate (DHCP or STATIC).
  • Proxy servers for LAN not yet uncheck.
